Plymouth born and bred, I initially trained for a Business Administration Apprenticeship and worked for a local training provider before moving to Aplus Training in a similar role.
However, I always had a keen interest in finance, so I decided to complete the AAT qualification. I also trained for my Assessor awards at the same time and when I achieved AAT Level 4, I started helping out in the classroom. I then successfully applied to the University of Plymouth to study business and economics with accounting (full time).
In September 2016 I joined the Accountancy Learning team! I enjoy working with my students and celebrating their successes and I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing (except being on a beach in the Caribbean!!)
I am married to Will and we have a mischievous toddler named Harvey, as well as 3 cats! Much of our spare time is spent on toddler play dates, toddler swimming classes and children’s birthday parties.
