I started my early career as an employability coach, offering Careers Advice to adults. This path enabled me to study to become a qualified Careers Advisor and I worked for the National Careers Service, specialising in professional CV writing and Careers Advice. This background has given me a wide range of knowledge, enabling me to work on a variety of government-funded contracts and confidently offer advice and guidance to help others make decisions on learning, training, and work. I am a geek when it comes to funding and compliance so I am constantly reminding others of these procedures (politely of course).
I have always been a huge advocate for apprenticeships and making the most out of yourself as an individual, even if this means completely retraining from scratch. I enjoy offering advice and guidance or coaching to both learners and staff and supporting them through their journey!
Out of work, I am ‘soon to be wife’ to Dan and mummy to our leap year son Charlie. Charlie is the absolute light of our lives – he grew up as a lockdown baby so we are rarely apart! Weekends are spent exploring new places together! I like to travel whether it’s abroad or just to new places in the UK!
My Motto:
“You are the life you accept for yourself”
