My Biography

The most exciting thing to know about me would be that I am the vocalist in a band called Slowly Sinking Ships. We all have a passion for music and we write our own original material. We have been on Radio One with our single “Insane” and released our E.P “Safe” shortly after. We have many exciting gigs, festivals and opportunities coming up and we can’t wait to bring out our two new singles this year (one of which will feature the Military Wives Choir and all money will be going to the Homeless Veterans Charity). I was always into my media and editing from a very young age and because of my passion, I then went to Gemini FM (now known as Heart FM- Global Radio) and had done my work experience there. I enjoyed it so much that at the age of 15 I got offered to go into Gemini FM on a voluntary basis to learn more about radio presenting in the studios.

I went on to work in childcare for 5 years. As much as I loved working with children, I wanted to take a different career path, so I searched for jobs and I was fortunate enough to find an apprenticeship in social media and business marketing. I completed my NVQ level 3 and was promoted to social media executive. After almost 3 years in the business I decided to move on, which led me to joining Accountancy Learning in May 2017, and I have enjoyed every second of my time with the team!
