I have always had a keen interest in finance and I enjoyed studying Maths, Business and Economics in college.

Following on from college I undertook an accountancy apprenticeship at Albert Goodman. I started my apprenticeship near the end of 2022 and began studying for level 3 AAT.

I recently completed my level 3 Diploma in accounting with a distinction and am looking forward to progressing onto level 4 in the coming weeks.

Throughout the year I was able to receive any support I needed when I needed it and had weekly catch ups with my tutor Jenna to ensure I always knew what I was doing. This helped with what to do next in terms of my diploma and my professional discussion.

 

Jenna said:

I started working with Adam in 2023. In that time, we have caught up weekly and Adam has been a great student. He has maintained communications, sat all of the exams we have discussed and planned in and also been very proactive with his portfolio. He has shown his commitment to studies by completing the relevant prep tests and practice assessments and using this feedback to help him with his studies. Adam hasn’t needed to be chased for any of his work and always makes sure to submit regularly and also with sufficient time before the exams. Adam has now completed his AAT Level 3 with a Distinction, having sat all of his exams this year, as well as balancing this with his portfolio work which has also been completed this year. Great work Adam, it’s been a pleasure to work with you!
