Charlie Waller charity was created in 1997 and has become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities.
They are one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities, founded by the family of Charlie Waller who took his own life in 1997 whilst suffering from depression.
They help young people to understand their own mental health, equip them to support themselves and those around them and empower them to talk more openly about the subject. Much of their work takes place in partnership with those with responsibility for young people – families, schools, colleges, universities, and employers.
How can you help?
Your support helps them to do incredible things. Since 1997, they have helped thousands of young people and those that care for them. But they know they need for their work is greater than ever.
By giving your time, your money, or your voice, you can help them to change lives.
There are a few ways you can get involved and these include fundraising events local to you, corporate fundraising events, volunteering and also donating directly through their website here: https://charliewaller.org/get-involved/donations
How has Accountancy Learning helped?
Accountancy Learning participated in the Michelmores Charity run raising money for the Charlie Waller Charity. We plan on participating in more events in the near future.
