Having commenced my professional journey as a secretary and subsequently advancing to the role of Personal Assistant, I assumed responsibility for the financial operations within the company I was employed by. In addition to overseeing financial matters, I pursued and attained my AAT qualifications with the support of my employer. Accumulating extensive experience as a Finance Manager over the years with a number of organisations, I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring accountancy apprentices. I am honoured to contribute to the development of aspiring accountants as an AAT Tutor at Accountancy Learning, so that I can share my knowledge and experience.
During my leisure time, if not engaged in social gatherings with family and friends, I can be found pottering in my garden. When the opportunity arises for a getaway, I love a countryside lodge, accompanied by my trusted companion, Treacle, a long-haired dachshund.
