Breast Cancer Now has funded over 360 of the brightest minds in breast cancer research across the UK and Ireland, they’re discovering how they can prevent breast cancer, save lives and live well with the disease.
Wear it Pink
Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
In March 2020, the doors to hundreds of our community supporter events had to close and our researchers were kept out of their labs for 100 days or more.
That’s why they’ve only become more determined to make sure they’re there to support people when they need them. And more determined to make the breakthroughs in research that will continue to drive forward progress.
So how can you help?
People affected by breast cancer need them – and they need you too. That’s why this October, they’re asking you to wear pink, raise money and help make life-changing research and care happen.
There are loads of ways you can get involved with the work they do. Whatever you do, you’ll be helping them to continue funding the world-class research taking place in their labs, and providing life-changing care and support for those who so desperately need it.
Participating in local events such as Charity runs, charity walks, charity bike rides, virtual events or even donating directly to them. Anything you can do to help this incredible cause will help someone with cancer. If you wish to donate, then you can do so here: https://breastcancernow.org/donate
